Yes — our rental terms require a €100 deposit at pickup. It is refunded when the car comes back as it left. You pay the rental itself on arrival, in cash (EUR or MKD) or by Visa/Mastercard (American Express and Diners Club are not accepted) — there is no online prepayment.
What insurance is included?
Third-party liability insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance are included in every rental. Optional cover at extra cost: Insurance CDW (€200 excess) €7/day, Full Insurance (zero excess) €15/day.
What is the minimum age to rent a car in North Macedonia?
Drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a driving licence for at least one year. Drivers aged 21–25 pay a young-driver surcharge, which is shown in the quote. An EU, UK, US or other national licence in Latin script is accepted; an International Driving Permit is recommended for non-Latin licences.
Is an automatic car available?
Yes — automatic cars are part of the fleet (16 bookable vehicles in total). Choose the gearbox in the booking form; automatics sell out first in July and August, so book ahead for summer.
Can I cancel for free?
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the pickup time. Since nothing is prepaid, there is nothing to refund — you simply cancel your booking.
